National Council on Substance Abuse isn’t backing down

Despite the changing environment, the National Council on Substance Abuse on International Day Against Drug Abuse and Trafficking isn’t backing down on its mission of promoting sustained action for a positive change in the fight against substance abuse.

Its latest initiative saw the NCSA parterning with the Barbados Boy Scouts Association to host the first virtual Badge Day.

Deputy Manager, Troy Wickham says the NCSA as the lead organisation for drug demand reduction is tasked with creating and implementing community based projects aimed at reducing the demand for drugs.

He says the NCSA continues to host interventions for people of all ages.
