Class 4
The transition period from primary to secondary school has been recognised as a vulnerable stage in a child’s development, with an increased risk for drug use initiation. Conducted exclusively after the sitting of the Barbados Secondary School Entrance Exam, Games 4 Life gives Class Four students the opportunity to engage in drug education activities that help them make healthy and safe choices. Through the medium of play, Games 4 Life allow the children to identify risky situations and develop appropriate response strategies in a safe and supportive environment while simultaneously improving their communication, conflict resolution, and peer refusal skills.
